Garbage

I love how you can only add credit cards and banks that are made available via the website. That's garbage. Then you have to put in all of this effort to try and plug all of your accounts into their site, even though this should already be reported by banks and phone companies automatically. Do they think we have all day to do this kind of thing?
Also, after you cancel your credit card after 20 years it no longer counts towards your credit and you take a 50 point hit even though you have a flawless credit history. What a scam. You should be able to cancel any card or leave any bank without it hurting your credit score. They should be able to take a snapshot of the 20 year history and concatenate it with your history thereafter. Otherwise, you are 'held hostage' with a bank or institution that you no longer want to do business with.

Very difficult —-actually seems…

Very difficult —-actually seems impossible—-to do anything to correct their mistakes. Even after 4 very lengthy phone calls and providing to Experian all the requested additional credit card accounts and promise that within a week they will update the credit profile, nothing happened for five months. It seems that the information you provide Experian goes to a foreign country and then it stays there and you never hear back from them .

Lie report

On the website of the experian itself it says that it reports credit with itin number, but it is a lie, I already called them, because my credit is not being reported and they even say that they do not report to those who have itin number.

FRAUD!

This Experian company slammed/scammed me for $24.31! It was supposed to be a "FREE" credit check. I did not join this fraudulent company. Yet, I was charged the above amount on my Capital One credit card. When I saw this, I immediately reported the fraudulent charge. Capital One investigated and gave me a credit for the $24.31. But, after a week with no reply from Experian, the credit was revoked! I have been unable to talk with a human at Experian with one exception. When i first saw the charge I was able to talk with an Experian employee from the Phillipin Islands! She told me that my complaint would be investigated and, to wait a minute. I waited and waited. The phone connection was gone! I am reporting this to my state's AG Consumer Complaint Division and, to Capital One. Anyone else have a similar problem? Report it...

Unless you have a question about membership don't bother calling

I signed up with Experian to use their "boost" which was fine for a few months, HOWEVER when I saw an error and tried to dispute the company's mistake, showing not only my bank records, but the information the had from boost which lists all your bank transactions! They don't bother with ANY evidence you have, they will only take what the company says truth. They took a catalog credit they originally listed as a credit card and changed it to a loan! It took 3 months of disputing their mistake before they changed it bake. Then they took a self added account that was a cable/internet service and put it as a mobile phone account! Next thing I know, there was a dispute against the company which was then removed from my report! Furious I made a call and was on hold for half an hour! When someone finally answered and I demanded to know why it was (!) Disputed (2) removed, I WAS HUNG UP ON! While I was on hold, I started a chat session, and when it finally got connected, I explained what I just went through, the person said I'm sorry. But by then, after months of aggravation, I said I wanted to be done with them! For the first 3 months maybe 4 it was great but after that, nothing but headaches. Their customer service is lacking, and all it did was make my credit worse than when I started

I wasn’t sure if I would get anything out of having an account set up, or how I would use their service; but I am actually pleased to have them side by side helping me with my credit and bill-worthiness/risk!
I’ve had my account/finances monitored using the free subscription for 2 years now. I’ve been able to boost my credit over 100/150 points, disputed items and able to watch and witness how my bills, payments and activities effect my #.
It’s truly helped me take more control and hands on approach to my credit and it feels a lot better than winging it and not knowing!

This is a follow up re this ridiculous and criminal company
They say that they won’t alter my credit file even though a judge has confirmed I have had NO arrears
I have commenced legal action re substantial compensation
I will be asking the judge to review their offshore ( Irish Company) to mitigate their tax at 12.5 %
Their operatives appear somewhat limited in their responses
I really think that Experian should be closed down

Hard Inquiries

I had applied for several credit cards on Experian and all of them were soft inquiries. However, today I applied for a Capital One card which denied me and it was recorded as a Hard Inquiry. I understand that these are advertisements. If Experian really cared about boosting your credit score they would not allow advertisers on their site that dings their customers with a Hard Inquiry. Customer Service said they could not remove it because it wasn't fraud. Experian cares more about making money off of these credit card companies and not so much about boosting the credit scores of their customers.

Gross Incompetence

Gross Incompetence
This company is just a joke
Impossible to contact by phone
Think it is ok to record erroneous information despite judge’s ruling
No choice but to sue them
I don’t understand how a dodgy company like Experian is allowed to operate

Useless and not effective

Useless and not effective to reach out because of an inquiry on my credit report isn't something I did. Furthermore i asked about the covid 19 and creditors not suppose to report late payments at the beginning of the pandemic and they said I have to gather info. The worst is it was due to fraud and US BANK SHOWS NO COMPASSION1]]]⁰
